En regardant le titre des pistes qui se trouvent dans Thrall of Winter's Majesty, on sera tenté de faire le rapprochement avec le Schnee de Paysage d'Hiver : de fait, ce deuxième album de Ringarë est lui aussi un équivalent des Quatre Saisons de Vivaldi centré exclusivement sur l'hiver. Il est tourmenté, impérial, épique (l'arrivée de Jack Blackburn y est pour quelque chose) et mélancolique. Le black metal atmosphérique frôle la symphonie. Magistral ! Favorite track: Thrall of Winter's Majesty.
